1st Half Ends In A Bang! – Five New BuySpeed Wins

Periscope’s team experienced a tremendous first half of 2011.  We’re pleased to announce new contract awards with the State of Maryland; a large southeastern county hospital system; Texas General Land Office; San Bernardino County, CA; and Illinois Comptroller’s Office.  Each contract includes implementation of BuySpeed eProcurement and sourcing.

The southeastern county healthcare system consists of hospitals, primary care centers, school-based clinics, long-term nursing facilities, and mental health facilities.

The Texas General Land Office (GLO), serves the people of Texas, managing over 13 million acres of land, protecting their environment, and maximizes state revenue through innovative administration.  GLO’s administration will experience tremendous savings with BuySpeed’s procurement software and process efficiencies.

San Bernardino County, CA, is California’s fifth largest county with a population over two million.  BuySpeed currently provides four California counties with eProcurement services, and we’re looking forward to bringing our proven county experience and success to San Bernardino County.

The Illinois Office of Comptroller (IOC) has put a big emphasis on improving transparency and accountability, so it’s no surprise they chose BuySpeed for their procurement modernization.  BuySpeed will offer IOC the tools necessary to make purchasing information more accessible in real-time to the general public.

The State of Maryland will re-launch eMaryland Marketplace with new capabilities and the latest BuySpeed technology.  This effort will drive more spend to existing state Department of General Services contracts.  It will also offer means to more easily create new contracts to be used throughout Maryland.

While we have a busy schedule ahead, Periscope is eager to establish long-lasting relationships that yield tangible results with each of our new clients.
