Periscope congratulates Hernando County Florida on their implementation of BuySpeed Online October 1st. Working in partnership with the County’s Clerk of Court and Periscope, the county Purchasing and Contract team implemented BuySpeed Online with an integration to the County’s financial accounting system, FinancePlus by SunGard.
For the first time ever, the County is not paying postage, printing, or fax costs for these documents. Hernando County instead uses BuySpeed Online to route every document electronically for approval and to send POs, change orders and bids to nearly 1000 registered vendors. This has allowed the County to direct this money to use for other critical County needs during these difficult economic times.
