Periscope’s BuySpeed Rated in Critical Capabilities Report
Leading Industry Analyst Evaluates Best-of-Breed E-Procurement Vendors

- Periscope Holdings, Inc. today announced that its BuySpeed e-procurement product solution was rated by Gartner, Inc. in a study analyzing 14 best-of-breed vendors.
- The Gartner report is entitled “Critical Capabilities for Best-of-Breed E-Procurement Vendors”.
- Periscope was one of 14 vendors evaluated according to use cases that are typical across organizations. Gartner specified eight vendor inclusion criteria, including a minimum of 25 installed customers.
- The report scored the solutions on 11 critical capabilities. Periscope’s BuySpeed solution scored 3.7 overall.
- To determine ratings, Gartner analysts identified the most common capabilities required by clients for an e-procurement system and developed an extensive list of functionality for each. Vendors identified the features they currently support and customer feedback on usability and completeness of the functionality was used to adjust the scores.
